There's a new chiptune creator app for Windows that's coming soon! It's called BeepComp and it's been in development for several months. To get a sneak peek, visit hiromorozumi.com/beepcomp. You can also check out the website and see some samples of its work. But in the meantime, you can play around with it on your PC by following the instructions provided on the site.
To get started, simply double-click the BeepComp icon on your desktop. It will load automatically and display a green screen with buttons. Click on one of these buttons to enter the programming language. You will see a list of note names, symbols, and other visual events. After clicking the button, you can create your own chiptune using text. The music editor will automatically load a default song at startup.
The app can protect your MIDI music with a password. You can configure up to nine audio channels. Then, you can protect trackers with a password. And if you need to change the volume, you can use the time line to control the music. Moreover, the application comes with a time line so you can customize the sound. And since BeepComp also supports percusion, you can choose the audio channel and volume.
You can download the latest version of BeepComp - Chiptune at its official website. It's free and can be used on a Windows PC.
